The official opening of the Coy Cup took place prior to the Powell River Regals versus Kitimat Ice Demons game. Sliammon Chief Clint Williams and Mayor Stewart Alsgard dropped the ceremonial puck between captains, Rick McLaren and Derek Wakita.
