For the 24th straight year, the North Meck boys’ and girls’ swimming teams won their conference title. But this year was the first time both Viking teams have won the I-Meck conference title in the league’s inaugural season.

During the first week of May a crew from Morgan Electric was removing a light pole on the northeast corner or visitors’ side of the Little Elm Athletic Complex on East Eldorado Parkway. The pole came loose from the cable and fell to the ground. Fortunately no one was injured.
